Bank On Certifies our Access checking account

Self-Help Federal Credit Union is honored that our Access checking account has been certified by the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund as meeting the Bank On National Account Standards (2023 - 2024). Bank On’s National Safe Account Standards aim to ensure low cost, high functionality, and consumer safety in financial services. 

Our Access checking account includes a $5 monthly service fee that can be waived, no overdraft or nonsufficient fund fees, online and mobile services, an ATM or debit card, and federal deposit insurance.

75 years of credit union recognition

The 75th anniversary of International Credit Union Day was October 19, 2023. ICU Day is a celebration of the credit union movement, a simple idea of people working together to create a better standard of living by combining their savings to make loans for friends and neighbors.

  • Christmas Eve Observed: December 25

  • New Year’s Day: January 1, 2024
